UNMC Alert:
Earlier today, UNMC received an emailed threat of a potential explosive device in McGoogan Health Sciences Library.
The library was evacuated while the University of Nebraska Police and Public Safety Department (UNPPSD) and the Omaha Police Department (OPD) searched the building.
The building was deemed safe at approximately 1:50 P.M. Normal operations at library will resume today at 3 P.M.
Schools and businesses across the country received similar threats today.
