Candidates should have an enthusiasm for\u00a0patient care,\u00a0teaching, and clinical research.\u00a0Generous protected time and support are available in order to conduct collaborative clinical research\u00a0and achieve the goals of the program.<\/p>\n<p>Opportunity\u00a0Highlights:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Join a team of\u00a0professionals \u2013 including\u00a0ID Physicians,\u00a0advanced\u00a0practice\u00a0providers,\u00a0and clinical and research support personnel &#8211;\u00a0dedicated to the care of\u00a0patients who\u00a0have infectious diseases complications associated with\u00a0stem cell transplantation or treatment\u00a0of underlying\u00a0hematologic or solid tumor malignancies.<\/li>\n<li>Provide care for both inpatients and outpatients in the\u00a0state-of-the-art\u00a0Fred &amp; Pamela Buffett Cancer Center\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0newly opened in 2017; collaborate with colleagues in solid organ transplant ID.<\/li>\n<li>Explore abundant\u00a0clinical and translational research opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Teach\u00a0medical students, residents, and ID fellows on the Oncology ID consult service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The applicant will\u00a0fully\u00a0participate in the clinical, teaching, and research programs of the Infectious Diseases Division \u2013 a vibrant and growing division made up of\u00a023\u00a0ID faculty\u00a0with numerous close associations with other clinical and basic science departments.
