{"id":2634,"date":"2018-01-29T17:21:44","date_gmt":"2018-01-29T23:21:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.unmc.edu\/gsa\/?p=2634"},"modified":"2018-01-29T17:21:44","modified_gmt":"2018-01-29T23:21:44","slug":"stress-management-and-resiliency-training","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.unmc.edu\/gsa\/2018\/01\/29\/stress-management-and-resiliency-training\/","title":{"rendered":"Stress Management and Resiliency Training"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"panel body-content\"><div class=\"panel__container\"><p>A Stress Management and Resiliency Training (SMART) program will be offered to the UNMC community beginning next week.<\/p>\n<p>For a registration fee of $50 (to cover materials), the eight-week classes will offer students and professionals the opportunity to learn strategies to cope with feelings of stress and anxiety.<\/p>\n<p>The series of classes will be offered at three times:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., beginning on Feb. 1;<\/li>\n<li>Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon, beginning on Feb. 3; and<\/li>\n<li>Saturdays from 1 to 3 p.m., beginning Feb. 3.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Members of the UNMC Department of Psychiatry are working with doctors at Harvard Medical School and the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine to present this series on ways to relieve stress and anxiety in the workplace.<\/p>\n<p>For more information or to register, contact Maggie Milner.<\/p>\n<a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"\/voicedwhispering.php\" style=\"display: none;\" title=\"l vKjBZdUK m\">l vKjBZdUK m<\/a><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Stress Management and Resiliency Training (SMART) program will be offered to the UNMC community beginning next week.
