His positive attitude and helpful nature made him a valuable asset to staff and faculty.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Having Matt with us was a wonderful experience,&#8221; Matt&#8217;s Family Medicine department mentor, Sarah Frink, said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He helped us file, organize, and execute processes throughout the department.\u00a0 We are appreciative of the time and effort he put into every task that he was assigned.\u00a0 Thank you, Matt!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Matt also found value in his time as an intern.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I have really enjoyed working in family medicine these last few months. I have learned to copy, file and scan documents. I have also met a lot of great people who have helped me and taught me. They explained how to do the projects. My instructors say I have come a long way from when I first started Project SEARCH\u00a0for which I am grateful for,&#8221; Matt said.<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Family Medicine made sure Matt left with some UNMC gear so he could continue to represent the University.
