There is no comparable way for\u00a0the student to observe the physician in his\/her medical, ethical, and community\u00a0relationships.<\/p>\n<p>Eighteen UNMC students are visiting fifteen different rural communities across the state to train with volunteer preceptors during the first rotation.<\/p>\n<p>Orientation for the group included workshops in splinting and aspiration with Medical Student Education Director Dr. Mindy Lacey, and a\u00a0review of the course objections and expectations.<\/p>\n<p>Students heard from Liliana Bronner and Nikki Carritt\u00a0and learned about the Nebraska AHEC program.
