By combining both <a href=\"http:\/\/asmbs.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">American Society for Metabolic &amp; Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS)<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.obesity.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Obesity Society (TOS)<\/a> annual meetings, ObesityWeek brings together world-renowned experts in obesity to share innovation and breakthroughs in science unmatched around the globe.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Andrade will presenting a poster titled &#8220;Feasibility of a SSB consumption survey in an Underserved Pregnant cohort at a Community Health Center&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The study was initiated by Dr. Birgit Khandalavala in collaboration with Kristine McVea, MD, Chief Medical Director, OneWorld Community Health Centers, and Alex Dworak, MD.<\/p>\n<p>It was implemented with the help of bilingual volunteer, Maya Nirmalraj, and residents Ferdinando Andrade, MD; Kris Huber, MD; Jose Mayorquin, MD; Ronoel Penalver, MD; Jeremy Howe, MD; and Wolfgang Rodriguez, MD.<\/p>\n<p>Outcomes of the survey study deemed it feasible.
