Administrative leaders from Tongji University in Shanghai, China had a chance to ask questions about the Family Medicine rotation experience on their December visit to campus.

Family Medicine Predoctoral Director Paul Paulman, MD, and Clerkship Coordinator Jolene Wees meet with the group of six to discuss the student experience in a Family Medicine rotation.

The group was interested in learning how the eight week rotation operates, including use of the MedU Virtual Patient fmCases, how students are assigned to a rural sites, and how often medical students choose to practice Family Medicine after graduation.

Students at Tongji University would likely have a different family medicine rotation experience in the city of Shanghai that boasts a population of around 20 million!
