PT Anti-Trafficking Coordinator

Responsibilities

The Human Trafficking (HT) Training Coordinator is part of an interdisciplinary team implementing a three- year, grant-funded training initiative to educate CHI Health staff on the signs that a patient may be a victim of human trafficking and how to respond appropriately. The HT Training Coordinator will liaise with members of the Forensic Nurse Examiner Program (FNEP), Healthy Communities team, security, emergency department clinical staff, and others, to schedule staff trainings, collect training evaluation data, provide monthly training completion reports, present updates at human trafficking task force meetings, submit documentation for continuing education units and other tasks, as assigned.

  1. Provides project assistance to the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Supervisor. Maintains human trafficking training logs for internal staff. Ensures timely follow-up on assigned projects.  
  2. Prepares presentations and training reports as needed. Sends monthly reports on training completion rates to department leaders.
