Wellness Promotion and Prevention Coordinator, Student Health and Counseling, UNK

Required Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Health Promotion, Public Health, Student Affairs, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in event planning, health promotion, public speaking and/or marketing. General knowledge of health topics, public health, health promotion. Strong written and oral presentation skills. Experience in data collection, analysis, assessment and identifying opportunities of use of data. Experience with leadership programs, initiatives specifically related to health and wellness. Experience working with diverse populations/cultural competence and well-being strategies in higher education.                

Preferred Qualifications:             

 Master’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Health Promotion, Public Health, Student Affairs or related field. College health experience. Experience in grant writing or grant management. Proficiency in content creation. A working knowledge of Adobe Products including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
