Primary teaching responsibility is in our brand new Distance Education (DE) Master of Public Health program, to be launched in Fall 2021, in collaboration with our DE program partner, NoodleTM. This exciting, dynamic, online distance education program will be designed to address the growing demand for Public Health trained professionals. The successful candidates will contribute to designing and delivering an agile educational experience through the development of online courses with the support of NoodleTM consultants.

The teaching load is four courses each semester and two courses in the summer.  The positions, based on areas of applicant’s expertise, will require teaching in multiple MPH content areas.  Possible topics include: epidemiology; biostatistics; assessment and planning; health systems, policy and leadership; or other public health courses, as appropriate.  See a full list of MPH foundation and concentration courses on our website (https://publichealth.utk.edu/degree-programs/mph/).  Both positions will serve, as needed, on departmental, college, and university committees, and advise students.  Coordination of the online MPH Applied Practice Experience may be part of the responsibilities.
