VSD studies link electronic immunization data with clinical outcomes (outpatient, inpatient and ED diagnoses) and use a variety of study designs to identify vaccine-associated adverse events. New VSD research activities include planning for near-real time assessment of adverse events after Covid-19 vaccination, and a study to identify vaccine-mediated enhanced disease in Covid-19 vaccine recipients.
