REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, social or behavioral sciences, education, health sciences, public health, law, or related field and experience in program planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluating, and grant management. Related coursework, training and/or education may substitute for the Bachelor’s degree on a year-for year basis.

PREFERRED: The qualified candidate will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Part B grants to states & territories, including the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP); experience holding subrecipients and contractors accountable for adherence to work plans, budgets, and agreements; experience working with complex programs; and experience answering to multiple levels of organizational authority.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Helpful knowledge, skills, and abilities include proven ability to manage people and multiple, complex projects; solid background in budgeting and project planning; experience with federal grant management; ability to write and manage contracts and subawards, ensuring proper use of funds through monitoring and oversight; ability to communicate with a variety of audiences and all levels of DHHS and partner agencies; integrity; and an ability to maintain composure and confidence when challenged. Experience with grant audits and findings and developing and implementing corrective action plans strongly preferred.
