The position functions in a variety of tasks in support of the Nebraska-Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (N-MIECHV) Program implementation and evaluation . The successful candidate is flexible, an excellent communicator both orally and in writing, very accurate and detail-oriented. Important skills include financial monitoring, continuous quality improvement, and use of technology in Microsoft Office to assist the Program Manager and local implementing agencies in implementation and evaluation of evidence-based home visiting in Nebraska.

Qualifications / Requirements

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree, or equivalent coursework/training, in public administration, social/behavioral sciences, healthcare, human services or other program related field. Professional experience working in a human/social service or health care agency with responsibility for planning or evaluation services, programs or operational policies and practices may substitute in lieu of the educational requirement.

PREFERRED: Experience working in an office setting. Strong skill set with Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel. Interest and/or past experience in public health, early childhood, or home visiting. Appreciation for equity-focused work. Willingness to engage with team members as an equal contributor, bringing creativity, interests, and insights to N-MIECHV activities.

OTHER: Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel overnight occasionally.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent written and oral communication skills; financial monitoring; fine attention to detail. Knowledge of Continuous Quality Improvement technology/tools.
