All Federal Work Study (FWS) positions for the 2019-20 Academic Year are now posted.
A few things to know:
- You must be eligible for FWS, according to your 2019-20 FAFSA. If you are unsure of your eligibility, please contact UNMC Financial Aid.
- If you are a current/returning UNMC student, you may begin working in a position any time.
- If you are an incoming/Fall 2019 UNMC student, your first day of work cannot be before the first day of classes (August 26th).

A research opportunity is currently available with the Health Informatics Branch, in the Division of Field Studies and Engineering (DFSE), within the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Cincinnati, Ohio. The selected participant will be with the SENSOR-Pesticides program, and will be involved with conducting surveillance studies of acute pesticide-related illness and injury, with a focus on those caused by work-related exposures.
