Project Coordinator Position
Start Date: January 2018
Project coordinator for multi-site clinical trial. The coordinator will review all study related documents, including protocol, Case Report Forms, Manual of Procedures, Quality and Data Management Plans, Clinical Monitoring Plans and Safety Monitoring plans. The coordinator will work under the direction of the Principal Investigator, to facilitate the recruitment and enrollment of an adequate number of appropriate subjects, using appropriate language skills as needed. The coordinator will also work closely with the lead Project/Data Manager from a partnering institution to maintain consistency in administration, data management and reporting. Responsibilities will include writing and maintaining regulatory documents with the IRB, data management, and overseeing the conduct and documentation associated with all study aims. Position will involve weekly travel throughout New York City to project locations.
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree, with emphasis on communication or public health
Preferred Education: Master’s in Public Health
Required Experience: At least two years’ experience coordinating a health service program or research program
Preferred Experience: Experience in community-based administration. Experience in research project or clinical trial coordination. Experience in early childhood health.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent organizational skills with strong individual initiative. Very good interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities and populations. Strong computing skills and excellent writing skills.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Grant writing and administration skills. Strong presentation skills. Knowledge in budget management. Spanish language skills.
