Senior Researcher

Deadline: until filled

HDR is seeking a Senior Researcher (would probably be a best fit either for a recent grad who had prior work experience, or for someone who has been out and working for a while. PhD is preferred.)

The Senior Researcher leads development and implementation of Research initiatives. This is a senior-level consulting role, and the candidate is expected to seek out and leverage opportunities to develop impactful research across HDR program areas. Specific responsibilities include working with internal and external clients (as well as more junior Research staff) to develop viable and significant research questions and hypotheses, to develop and delineate clear research designs and approaches, to guide junior staff in systematic literature searching and reviews and in writing research plans and protocols, to develop and validate data collection instruments as needed, and to oversee and participate in data collection and analysis processes. The Senior Researcher is expected to conduct advanced statistical analyses, including analyses of correlated/longitudinal data, and to be able to clearly summarize results and lead teams in writing reports and manuscripts. The Senior Researcher must work collaboratively with content experts in other Consulting groups and with project leaders on research initiatives. The candidate should be an articulate advocate for the value of research to clients, to the industry,  and within HDR.
