Marin County, CA is seeking a Green & Health Homes Initiative Coordinator. The Green & Healthy Homes Initiative™ (GHHI) was established with support from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 30 philanthropic foundations and 12 pilot cities in 2008 to advance the work of lead poisoning prevention and Healthy Homes in a more comprehensive, sustainable and cost-effective manner.
The GHHI Program Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the successful development and implementation of the Green & Healthy Homes Initiative in Marin County, California. The Program Coordinator will serve as the local GHHI Marin County Outcome Broker to work closely with local partner organizations and agencies to formulate, implement, and monitor local GHHI goals and objectives. The stakeholders involved in GHHI-Marin County include community based organizations, local government and philanthropy, renewable energy experts, weatherization and home improvement contractors, and health and accessibility experts. The Coordinator will work to ensure that partners most effectively coordinate and leverage their collective resources to ensure the success of the project.
