I later graduated from both the Radiography and Radiation Therapy programs at UNMC and am board certified in both disciplines.

I worked the past 8 years in the clinical setting as a radiation therapist, where I especially enjoyed the opportunity to build relationships with patients and work with students. As a lifelong learner, I’m also passionate about exploring the ongoing technological advancements in radiation oncology. I am excited for the transition from the clinical setting to the teaching side of preparing future radiation therapists and drawing on my real-world clinical experience to help do so.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing pickleball (definitely just beginner level) and decorating cakes. I also love cheering on the Husker volleyball team!

Ellie Brouillette, MHPTT, RT(R)(T)(ARRT), is an alum and new assistant professor and clinical education coordinator for our radiation therapy program.
