The UNMC College of Allied Health Professions began offering high school and college students an inside look into our health professions in 2010. We called it Backstage Pass because of its hands-on, behind-the-scenes nature, and 14 years later it’s going stronger than ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to popularity, what began as a once-a-year recruitment event for 10 programs has grown into multiple events and locations for more than 15 programs. We now offer it in the spring and fall in Omaha and in Kearney.  The UNMC College of Nursing has joined us for the past few years, and uBEATS and Nebraska Medicine Talent Acquisition also had booths at the most recent Backstage Pass on October 9, which welcomed 254 attendees from 20 schools. Backstage Pass is informational, but with games and interactive booths, it’s also fun and engaging. It\u2019s an opportunity to ask questions of current students and faculty, and to try some of the cool technology health professionals use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
