{"id":631,"date":"2010-01-27T08:13:30","date_gmt":"2010-01-27T14:13:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.unmc.edu\/alliedhealth\/?p=631"},"modified":"2010-01-27T08:13:30","modified_gmt":"2010-01-27T14:13:30","slug":"kudos-in-our-physical-therapy-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.unmc.edu\/alliedhealth\/2010\/01\/27\/kudos-in-our-physical-therapy-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Kudos in Our Physical Therapy Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"panel body-content\"><div class=\"panel__container\"><p>Three UNMC physical therapy faculty members will be recognized at the opening ceremonies of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Combined Sections Meeting (CSM) in San Diego, California February 17-21, 2010:<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Kathy Volkman will be recognized for becoming a Board-Certified Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy;\u00a0<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Joe Norman and Grace Johnson will be recognized for being item writers for the Board Certification Exams in cardiovascular\/pulmonary physical therapy and orthopedic physical therapy, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the following UNMC faculty will present a total of three major invited presentations, a platform presentation, and five poster presentations: Joe Norman, Greg Karst, Dawn Venema, Kathy Volkman, Gib Willett, Pat Hageman, Grace Johnson, Reggie Harbourne (MMI), Max Kurtz (MMI), &amp; Wayne Stuberg (MMI).\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThe CSM focuses on programming designed by all 18 of APTA\u2019s specialty sections.
