Peck, MS.Ed, recently joined our staff as a student services associate. Here&#8217;s more about Mindy in her own words:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am originally from western Nebraska and grew up in Holdrege. I graduated from Hastings College with a degree in Studio Art and Art History with a minor in Religion and Philosophy. After a move to Lincoln, I  began work at UNL in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and fell in love with advising and working with graduate students. I transferred across campus to the School of Biological Sciences where I worked as the graduate student services associate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I moved to Omaha and began work at UNO in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, as an office assistant\/graduate student services associate. I finished my master\u2019s degree this last May earning a Master of Education \u2013 Student Affairs Counseling degree from UNK. I am very fortunate to have been involved with all four University of Nebraska campuses. Each campus is unique and has its own special feel, and I am incredibly excited to be working at UNMC in the College of Allied Health Professions (CAHP) as part of the Enrollment Management and Student Affairs (EMSA) team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my fianc\u00e9 and step-kids, all of whom keep me very busy. I still find time for art, photography, and painting, even if the only \u201csubjects\u201d I can get to hold still long enough are my dog and two cats! I also enjoy traveling, reading, movies, and documentary films.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am very happy to be part of the UNMC team and look forward to being part of the CAHP family.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mindy J.
