During a scheduled break between her lectures, students invited Pat to power-walk with the class on their outdoor trail for 4 minutes of the 10-minute, between-lecture break.<\/p>\n<p>This UNMC-Kearney DPT student cohort started the walking tradition between classes during the first year of their professional education. The students navigate HSEC stairs during inclement weather, and a friendly competition in step counts between students is the norm.<\/p>\n<p>Physical therapists (PTs) are movement experts who improve quality of life through prescribed exercise and activity, hands-on care, and patient education.
