He completed his Physician Assistant training from Des Moines University and has practiced clinically in both Family Medicine and Pediatrics.<\/p>\n<p>He began his full-time academic career in 2010 and has had roles as Academic Coordinator, Admissions Coordinator, and Program Director. Mr. Grammer has passion for excellence in teaching, problem-based learning, and innovation in the classroom. Originally from the Council Bluffs\/Omaha area, Mr. Grammer and his wife are also actively involved in a local nonprofit mobile health organization serving the underserved in Omaha.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am excited to bring my experiences and passion for teaching to the UNMC PA team,&#8221; he said. &#8220;We are developing future clinicians who provide exceptional, team-based care to all patients, and I am honored to have the opportunity to be a part of that experience.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are excited to announce the hire of Shaun Grammer, M.S., PA-C who comes to us with 8 years of full-time academic experience in PA education.
