Volunteer pediatric patients came from the community to serve as patient models so that the students could exercise their noninvasive, clinical diagnostic skills. The learning activity was engaging, fun, and positive, as PA students rehearsed their exam of ENT, heart, lung, abdomen, and neurologic systems. They also learned to establish rapport, win trust, and express compassionate care with their patients.
