So when he recently left the division of physical therapy to pursue other opportunities on campus, they gathered to wish him well and send him off with some new clubs.<\/p>\n<p>They also honored him with a plaque, which read, \u201cDivision of Physical Therapy Education Appreciation Award presented to Dr. Gib Willett for contributions in teaching and service to the Division and to the students we serve.\u00a0 1990-2014.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Willett began his career as an instructor in the division in 1990 and went on to become professor, administrator, researcher, clinician, and distinguished alumni.<\/p>\n<p>Fun photos from the farewell fete are in this <a title=\"flickr.com\/photos\/sahp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/sahp\/sets\/72157646050125247\/\" target=\"_blank\">album on Flickr<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gilbert (Gib) Willett, PT, PhD, OCS, CSCS, likes to golf.
