Alex is grandson of clinical perfusion program director, David Holt.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Wednesday, February 6<sup>th<\/sup>, National Signing Day, Alex Grant Bumpus (grandson of Kathi and David Holt [Program Director for Clinical Perfusion Education]) signed with the University of Kentucky to play scholarship supported collegiate soccer. The special signing event was held in Columbus, Ohio at the Crew Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Alex is blessed to have a wonderful mother, Haidee, and a very supportive younger brother, Spencer,&#8221; said Holt.<\/p>\n<p>Alex has being playing soccer since he was very young and is currently nationally ranked in the top 100 in the US by the <em>College Soccer News. <\/em>He has won such honors as &#8220;Scholar Athlete,&#8221; and &#8220;Rookie of the Year,&#8221; as well as being a varsity starter at his Hilliard Davidson High School in Hilliard, Ohio.<\/p>\n<p>We wish him the very best!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wednesday, February 6th, National Signing Day, Alex Grant Bumpus (grandson of Kathi and David Holt [Program Director for Clinical Perfusion Education]) signed with the University of Kentucky to play scholarship supported collegiate soccer.
