Four graduates earning their Master of PA Studies degrees through the SAHP Degree Advancement Option made their first visit to Omaha to receive their degree.<\/p>\n<p>The MPAS degree curriculum was developed to allow clinically practicing PAs who possess an undergraduate degree to achieve a master&#8217;s degree through online graduate courses and supervising clinical practice at their place of employment.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2421\" style=\"width: 413px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.unmc.edu\/alliedhealth\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2012\/12\/DAOGrads2012bweb.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2421\" class=\"wp-image-2421 \" src=\"https:\/\/blog.unmc.edu\/alliedhealth\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2012\/12\/DAOGrads2012bweb.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"403\" height=\"352\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.unmc.edu\/alliedhealth\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2012\/12\/DAOGrads2012bweb.jpg 403w, https:\/\/blog.unmc.edu\/alliedhealth\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2012\/12\/DAOGrads2012bweb-300x262.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 403px) 100vw, 403px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-2421\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">(L-R) Melvin Oxendine II, Lushunda Hurst, James Adams, and Gayle Sakaguchi.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The PA graduates were Melvin Oxendine II from Florida, Lushunda Hurst from California, James Adams from Texas and Gayle Sakaguchi from Georgia. Mr. Oxendine II wrote back to say, &#8220;The ceremony was beautiful and I&#8217;m very glad to have\u00a0been a part of it. The people of Omaha are fantastic and everyone is very friendly, I was very pleased.
