Welcome new staff: Loralee Amandus

Loralee Amandus recently joined the physician assistant education program as their clinical education data coordinator. She holds an associate’s degree in general studies and is nearly finished with her bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Brigham Young University-Idaho.

Here’s more about Loralee, in her own words:

“I’m from Boise Idaho, where I grew up with five brothers. I’ve always been into sports – not only watching but playing – in particular, basketball, baseball, softball (because they wouldn’t let me play with the boys anymore), volleyball, and track.

My husband and I have three very active and energetic children ages 13, 11 and 10, and my family is everything to me. The military brought us to Nebraska, and although we miss our families and the mountains, we have learned to plant some strong roots and bloom in Nebraska life. There is a lot of beauty here. We’ve really enjoyed exploring Omaha and the surrounding areas and states over the last 10 years and look forward to many more. We love to camp, where we get to enjoy nature, relax, play, fish, and make wonderful memories. We also enjoy watching movies, the Cubs, and Boise State Football.”

Welcome, Loralee!
