Pat’s Public Pat on the Back: Cindy, Tammy, Sue, and Sarah

cloud-of-thanksKudos to Cindy Skarda, Tammy O’Donnell, Sue Stewart, and Sarah Frederick!

“These four ladies went above and beyond,” said Pat O’Neil, “embracing the opportunity to properly dispose of files, equipment and brick-a-brack that was outdated, irrelevant, or broken, during the SAHP’s recent Spring Cleaning initiative. To many, sorting through the boxes, file cabinets and piles of debris that filled the 7th floor storage area seemed overwhelming. But Cindy, Tammy, Sue, and Sarah seemed to relish the challenge…and proved themselves up to the task. Thank you all for your great work.”

Everyone appreciates recognition for a job well done. As such, SAHP Director of Finance and Administration, Pat O’Neil, MPA, came up with a new way to acknowledge staff within the school.

“I get emails from faculty all the time, telling me what a great job staff members are doing,” said Pat. “I’d like to publicly share some of the kudos so everyone else knows, too.”

Thus, Pat’s Public Pat on the Back (or Pat’s Pat, if you like) will be a new series on the TVs in Bennett Hall and on the blog, starting off with the above. (BTW – I, Fran, made up the title, so if you don’t like it, blame me.) 🙂  And I would also like to personally thank Cindy, Tammy, Sue, and Sarah, because I know what a mess that room was and am grateful I didn’t have to clean it!

Pat encourages all faculty and staff to regularly recognize and thank one another – with emails, thank-U grams, and nominations for Silver and Gold U-s. And remember, when you receive six thank-Us for a particularly brand value, you will receive a Vital pin for that value: Team, Leadership, Resource, and Excellence.
