Graduate Research Internship Program (GRIP) for Fellows

Deadline: December 5, 2014; March 6, 2015; and June 5, 2015

The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program is launching a new GRFP opportunity for Fellows called the Graduate Research Internship Program (GRIP).

The GRIP funding is similar to Graduate Research Opportunities Worldwide (GROW) in that selected Fellows are provided a $5,000 allowance to conduct research with a new research partner. Fellows selected for GRIP will conduct mission-related research at federal facilities through internships with Federal Agencies. The Dear Colleague Letter (NSF 14-084) announcing the initiative and outlining the funding and application process can be found here. Additional information can be found on the GRIP website.
