The McGoogan Docs Order Articles system will be unavailable for a portion of the weekend due to a scheduled system upgrade. Starting Friday, January 2 at 11 p.m. and ending Saturday, January 3 at 2 p.m., orders for articles and books cannot be made. Additionally, PDFs will not be able to be retrieved from your personal account.
Due to a connectivity problem between Google Scholar and the library’s product used for journal access, links to the library’s full-text collection will be unavailable within Google Scholar until Thursday, November 27. Though the connectivity issue has been fixed, scheduled Google updates will not occur until that time.
The Order Articles / McGoogan Docs system will be unavailable on Friday, July 18 from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. for a scheduled update. You may submit requests and access PDFs after the update. If you have an urgent patient care request, please call 402-559-7085. We apologize for this inconvenience.
On February 15, 2014 ProQuest RefWorks will make improvements to its internal systems to accommodate a growing number of users and reduce the need for future downtime.
An eight hour (8) maintenance window is needed to perform these enhancements, lasting from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. on February 16.
During this time period RefWorks users can expect sporadic availability, including periods of complete downtime. We anticipate that access issues and possible functionality problems will last anywhere from 3 to 15 minutes. If you experience issues with RefWorks during this maintenance window we recommend that you close your browser session, and return to RefWorks at a later time.
The library is receiving reports that some of our resources are not functioning properly. It is believed that certain versions of Internet Explorer are the root of the problem. If you are unable to access library resources while using Internet Explorer, use alternate browsers such as Firefox or Chrome. It is also recommended that you access resources directly through the library’s website at http://www.unmc.edu/library instead of linking through Blackboard.
