Lexicomp To Replace MICROMEDEX

Due to high subscription costs and The Nebraska Medical Center’s decision to move to Lexicomp, the library is cancelling its subscription to MICROMEDEX effective January 1 2014.   Lexicomp’s desktop version  will replace MICROMEDEX and is already available on the library home page under QuickLinks-Drug Resources.    The library will offer both resources concurrently for the rest of the year to make the transition smooth and seamless.

The library will offer Lexicomp training to anyone interested this fall.   Information on training will be forthcoming!

In order to access the personal benefits of our University-wide subscription to UpToDate, including CME and mobile access, individual registration is required.  If you have already registered with UpToDateyou will need to verify your account annually.  You may get an email when your account is nearing a year old, stating something like this:
