Question: I can only get the light version off-campus. Everyone else I have talked to gets something with decent functionality. I cannot underline or bold or change color or delete attachments or set up contact groups or do much of anything with this light version. Hoping you can help me.
Answer: The same thing happened to me when I first started using it. The reason is, the first time I used it I checked the low vision option (because I’m very nearsighted, I thought I’d try it). But that initial login sets the default to light version if you check that option. In my classes I tell people not to check it. Here is how you change it back to get the full web interface.
- Go back to the Outlook web mail
- From the light OWA version click Options (upper right)
- Click Accessibility
- Uncheck “Use the blind and low vision experience” and click Save 5. You must log out and back in again before you see the full web view.
