Fontanelle Forest has decided that the Mudpie Program can not accommodate our large group, so we have made a change to the playgroup schedule. Our activity for Wednesday September 14th will now be at the Henry Doorly Zoo. We’ll meet at the front gates at 10:00 am. We do have to enter as a group, so everyone needs to be as prompt as possible– we’ll wait until about 10:15 for any stragglers. There are some really nice picnic areas if you want to bring a sack lunch, or you can purchase lunch at many different locations throughout the zoo.
Many members of our group already have zoo passes, which allows an adult guest to enter as well — please let me know in your rsvp how many adults and children 3+ are planning on coming and if you currently have a zoo pass.
Date: Wednesday, September 14th at 10:00 am
Place: Henry Doorly Zoo (3701 S. 10th St, Omaha, NE, 68107)
What to Bring: water, sunscreen, camera, stroller, zoo pass (if you have it), and lunch if wanted
Directions: Head East on I-80. Take Exit 454 (13th Street/Stadium/Zoo). Turn right on S 13th St. and follow the signs for parking.

Member Dinner Out! This event is for members only. It’s a great chance to get out of the house and enjoy some time getting to know other members of Married to Medicine. We will also be enjoying a valuable presentation from Chris Insinger and Aaron Ostler about insurance and investment advice for residents and families. Chris and Aaron represent most of the residents at UNMC and are anxious to meet us and answer any financial questions that we might have as the spouses of residents. This event will be co-sponsored by Heritage Financial Services.
Location: Taste Restaurant at Rockbrook Village Shopping Center—Near Center and 108th St.
Childcare will be provided if needed, at Tiffany Murdoch’s house. Please let her know ASAP if you will need childcare!
