Cookies and Cream Oreo Fudge Brownies

1 box brownie mix
Eggs and oil as called for by the brownie mix
1 heaping half cup (6 0unces) Cookies and Cream ice cream or vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup hot fudge topping chilled or at room temperature
1 package Oreos ( I used double stuffed)

Preheat oven according to directions on the box and generously spray an 8×8 baking pan with cooking spray.  Combine brownie mix, eggs, and oil as directed on the package omitting the water.  Add the ice cream and hot fudge sauce to the mix and stir to combine.  Pour half of brownie mix into baking pan, layer with the Oreos and finish by topping cookies with the remaining brownie mix batter.  Bake for 40 – 50 minutes.

I used two boxes of brownie mix to double the recipe and it took 1 1/2 package of Oreos to cover the brownie mix in the 9 x 13 baking pan.  It works well to store these in the refrigerator as they are pretty gooey.
