Thursday, October 3, 2013 the Student Association hosted it’s first semester Dean’s Forum. Interim Dean, Jane Meza, was joined by CoPH faculty, Dr. Terry Huang, Dr. Mohammad Siahpush, Dr. Amr Soliman, and Dr. Dave Palm, for a panel discussion about research and collaboration in public health. The Public Health Association of Nebraska (PHAN) is hosting their annual conference October 10-11, 2013. The conference, to be held in Grand Island, NE, is an excellent opportunity for students to learn about public health in Nebraska and network with Nebraska’s public health workforce in a low-risk, more relaxed setting.
