Community Benefit Manager

Children’s Hospital and Medical Center is searching for a Community Benefit Manager to manage and oversee Community Benefit tracking, reporting, and planning activities in coordination with leadership at the Center for the Child & Community and Finance Department.  Collaborates with departments throughout the organization to ensure the identification, tracking, reporting and documentation of Community Benefit activities. Support planning and implementation of community health programs and ensure compliance and accountability with all Community Benefit activities as it relates to the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) goals, Implementation Strategy Plan (ISP) and other identified expectations.

Public Health Program Associate

The Evans Research (at Emory University) seeks a world free from violence. To contribute towards this goal the team focuses its research endeavors on public health and human rights violence prevention and response. Current research projects focus on intimate partner violence; femicide; child abuse and neglect; and the commercial sexual exploitation of children in both domestic and international settings. All team members must be self-motivated, passionate, able to work independently, detail oriented, and able to work efficiently to reach targets (weekly and monthly). This position is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and planning operational facets of our program and its related activities, which include, but are not limited to the following: establishing long-term operational objectives, researching factors that may influence the success of the program, and working with individuals or groups to research and document program requirements in order to provide appropriate input into the development of strategic plans and the implementation of programmatic activities. 

The employee will interface with research and administrative staff at Emory Rollins School of Public Health and with collaborating partners based at various locations throughout the world. May expand to other sites/countries, contingent upon funding. This position will develop work plans to accomplish program goals and objectives and monitor progress toward their achievement.

About the Role

NHF Nebraska is looking for a Program Manager to join our team! Under the direction of the executive director, the program manager develops, implements, and facilitates the chapter’s education & community programs. Programs include, but are not limited to, Educational Dinners, Family Camp, teen programming, the UNITE for Bleeding Disorders Walk, Annual Education Weekend, New Parent Information Groups and Advocacy Trainings.

The program manager must have the ability to self-motivate and project manage multiple projects at once. We are looking for someone with high energy to mobilize our community and volunteers towards the work of the chapter. Nights and weekends for chapter events will be required.

The program manager will also lead evaluation efforts, volunteer management, as well as budgeting and reporting as it relates to these programs and events. He/She/They must also have the ability to develop strong caring and professional relationships with constituents of The Nebraska Chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation and will also demonstrate behaviors that support NHF’s commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and safe workplace as well as a commitment to NHF’s standards of behaviors of Accountability, Collaboration, Service & Support.

Omaha Healthy Start Program Manager

Charles Drew Health Center, Inc. is seeking someone to lead the Omaha Healthy Start Program.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Omaha Health Start Program Manager (OHS PM) will lead a team focused on addressing Maternal Child Health (MCH) related needs with the aim of reducing rates of infant mortality. OHS PM will provide oversight for OHS Staff to ensure outreach, education, and case management goals are achieved. In addition, OHS PM will serve as the liaison between the team and community maternal child health initiatives in Douglas County, with a focus on North Omaha. As member of the Operations Department, the OHS PM will work in collaboration with CDHC leadership to ensure participants have necessary supports to meet their healthcare needs.
