UNL is seeking a Coordinator for Training and Assessment to oversee the recruitment, training, and retention activities for Student Involvement and Nebraska Union staff. The position coordinates the development of the Student Involvement and Nebraska Unions assessment plans, assists with the collection, and monitors and centralizes the reporting of assessment data regarding student learning and customer satisfaction. This job would utilize a public health professional’s assessment, evaluation, data and collaboration skills, and would be a great way to build one’s career portfolio in those areas.
REQUIRED Bachelor’s degree plus one year experience in a business or university setting required; equivalent education/experience considered. Must be proficient in word processing, database, spreadsheet and presentation software. Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, presentation, and leadership skills. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and independently. Effective problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills necessary. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations such as to include: students, faculty, staff, parents and other institutions of higher education required.
PREFERRED Master’s degree preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Experience with survey development desirable. Training experience helpful. Proficiency with Adobe Connect and Blackboard preferred.
