The Children’s Environmental Health Initiative (CEHI) within the School of Natural Resources and Environment (SNRE) at the University of Michigan currently has a position opening for a Statistician Intermediate. SNRE’s mission is to contribute to the protection of the Earth’s resources and the achievement of a sustainable society. The Statistician Intermediate position requires a data analyst committed to public and environmental health and health disparities research. In addition to statistical responsibilities, the Statistician should be comfortable reading the public and environmental health literature in order to generate research questions in collaboration with project team leaders; design relevant analyses to extend and expand on previous research findings; and interpret analytical results in light of the relevant literature.
