Event Dates: April 24, 25 & 26
The Nebraska Science Festival is quickly approaching and we are looking forward to having you as a part of this unique event (http://www.nescifest.com/). Like last year, Dr. Britigan is looking for student volunteers to help enroll classroom fieldtrip participants in a research study using a 6-question survey on food group awareness for children and adults.
Location: Durham Museum
Dates & Times:
Thursday and Friday, April 24 and 25; 9:15 -11:15 a.m. session and 12:15-2:15 p.m. session
Saturday, April 26; 9:00 AM-1:00 PM
There are two planned sessions each day: one from 9:15 -11:15 a.m. and one from 12:15-2:15 p.m. on that Thursday and Friday. There are approximately 400 students total in the morning session and 400 in all afternoon sessions. On Saturday, the public expo runs from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and the museum will open at 8:00 a.m.. Last year we had around 1700 people attend, we figure the number will be similar again this year.
