Deadline: March 20, 2014
ASPPH is now accepting applications for the ASPPH Headquarters Summer Internship Program. The summer internship program is open to current students of ASPPH-member CEPH-accredited graduate schools and programs of public health. The internship will provide a unique experience where the selected student can apply their skills and knowledge learned in the classroom to public health projects of importance to ASPPH and our members.
ASPPH will accept three summer interns to participate in projects at ASPPH headquarters in Washington, DC. The internship assignments will focus on data analysis and marketing and communications.
Candidates must be current students (expected to graduate in Spring 2014, Winter 2014, or Spring 2015) of ASPPH member CEPH-accredited schools and programs of public health. In addition to specific skills required for individual internships, candidates must have strong organizational, writing, and communication skills. They must also be U.S. citizens, or hold a visa for permanent residence (i.e. “Green Card”). Candidates must be able to begin the internship in late-May or early-June 2014 and stay for a minimum of 10 weeks.
Applications must be submitted online via the ASPPH Training Programs Online Application System. Detailed application instructions, as well as detailed project descriptions, can be found on the ASPPH web site at www.aspph.org, or the ASPPH Internship webpage.
