The New Mexico Department of Health is seeking an MCH Epidemiologist. The purpose of this position is to coordinate and conduct data analysis for federal infant mortality prevention initiatives (Association of State and Territorial Health Officials and National Governor’s Association learning network). Incumbent will oversee data collection and analysis strategies to monitor and evaluate infant mortality prevention efforts as well as analyze vital records data, and Maternal Child Health (MCH) surveillance data.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Science, Social Services and/or Statistics and one (1) year of experience in Public Health to include data analysis and linking methodology.
