Deadline: until filled
Dr. Joseph Siu from CS-CASH is seeking a part-time student worker immediately for an ongoing research study. This project is funded by the pilot grant of Central States Center for Agricultural Safety and Health (CS-CASH) to investigate the effect of sleep deprivation on balance, stress and recovery among Farmers. The study assessments take place at Beacom Health Clinic or the farm of the participants around Fremont, NE.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience with research as well as people because you work directly with farmers from the area. The student will perform several tasks including subject recruitment, data collection, and analysis. In addition, the student will have an opportunity to contribute to conference abstracts and reports to gain great experience and enhance your resume. The project is already underway so most things are set up.
The new student worker will be paid hourly, and driving mileage will be reimbursed.
The prospective student must be well organized and be able to communicate well with participants and research team members.
If you are interested in this opportunity please email your resume directly to Dr. Siu at firstname.lastname@example.org. You may also contact Dr. Siu with any questions.
