LOCATED “BETWEEN” THE ARS BUILDING and CUP BUILDING
The entrance driveway between the Academic and Research Services building and the Central Utility Plant will be closed on the following dates:
- JULY 22, 2014 approx. 7AM-2PM
- AUGUST 1, 2014 approx. 7AM-2PM
- AUGUST 8, 2014 approx. 7AM- 10AM
- AUGUST 12, 2014 approx. 7AM-2PM
This closure needs to be done in order to transfer equipment onto the CUP roof.
A crane will be set up outside of Security and will block most of the driveway on these dates. The crane will be moving materials for a roof repair. This will also impact access to Parking Lot 22U from Emile Street. (See attached photo.)
If you have any questions, please contact George M. at 402-238-8211. Since it is vital that everyone working in and around and/or uses parking lot 22U and 22L be aware of the closure, I ask that you mention it to your colleagues.
Please use caution when walking or driving in and around this area.

The contractor (General Excavating) will be digging around the manhole on 40th Street at the Jones Street intersection. Due to its age and condition, Lot 4 parking structure is coming down to make room for green space (temporally……:-).
The four level parking garage was built in 1972 with 520 parking stalls. Lot 4 was not built with state funds, Bonds were issued to acquire the needed funding.
This structure was old and full of dust
you know it had served over time very well
the demo, you see is a must
for us to progress in the future as well.
