ELECTRICAL POWER INTERRUPTION
On Tuesday, October 21st, 2014, there will be an extended interruption (shut off) of normal electrical power to the main electrical switchboard that serves all levels of the Student Life Center. During this time, all normal power to the Student Life Center will be disconnected and only items connected to the emergency power supply will remain energized. When normal power is disconnected, all general office lighting, PC’s, receptacle outlets, HVAC equipment, exercise equipment, refrigerators, freezers, etc. will be without power.
This shut off is required to facilitate installation of temporary construction site power needed for construction of the new Lozier Center for Pharmacy Sciences building.
Commence Time: Tuesday, October 21, 2014, 10:15 p.m. (2215 hrs.)
Completion/End Time: Tuesday, October 21, 2014, 11:45 p.m. (2345 hrs.) Approximately

ELECTRICAL POWER INTERRUPTION (All Levels)
On Thursday October 9th, 2014, there will be an extended interruption (shut off) of emergency electrical power that serves all levels of the UNMC Truhlsen Eye Institute. During this time, emergency power will be disconnected and only items connected to the normal power supply will remain energized. This will cause an extended outage to all “RED” receptacles outlets, lighting, air handling units, supply fans, exhaust fans, fume hoods, motors, etc.
This outage is needed to complete repairs done on an Automatic Transfer Switch, (ATS).
Start Time: Thursday October 9th, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. (1900 hrs.)
End Time: Thursday October 9th, 2014 at 9:00 p.m. (2100 hrs.) (Approximately)

CHILLED WATER SHUT-DOWN
Starting Friday, October 3, 2014, at 5:30 p.m. the chilled water systems will be turned off for the installation of new piping for the Lozier Center for Pharmacy project. This shut-down will affect the HVAC systems in the Maurer Center for Public Health and the Student Life Center.
Air systems will be operating, but will not provide air conditioning (cooling) during this time period. This will affect all levels in these two buildings and may cause room temperatures to increase slightly

Completion Time: Saturday, October 4, 2014, @ 5:00 p.m. Approximately
