COP-DD Construction Project – Concrete Pour
(See Map Below)
Next Saturday, April 25, 2015, Hausmann Construction, the contractor for the College of Pharmacy construction project will be pouring concrete for the west end of the new building’s roof. The only access for this pour will be from the dock of the Michael Sorrell building.
With the concrete pump truck in the dock area there will be no access to the Michael Sorrell loading dock or the garages from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m… Emile Street and 41st Street will be accessible.
The contractor will have a flagman at the Sorrell dock to direct traffic. Please use caution and observe any temporary barricades and safety fences around the construction area.
This work is part of the Lozier Center for Pharmacy Sciences & Education and Center for Drug Discovery construction project. As the project progresses, you will be kept informed.
If you have any questions, please contact Mic Tierney at 402-559-5261 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Since it is vital that everyone working in and around the area be informed, please mention it to your colleagues. (click on photo to enlarge)
A section of Lot 56 will be blocked off from Tuesday, February 24, 2015, through Sunday, March 1, 2015. This is for the removal of the damaged awning on the west side of Lot 56. The entrance to Lot 56 on Farnam Street (south side) will also be closed during this construction. The lot will still be accessible from the Douglas Street (north side) entrance.
A few stalls on the east side of Lot 57 may also be affected by this construction, so please be conscious of any stalls that may be barricaded. The entrances to Lot 57 will not be affected.
If you are unable to find a parking space in Lot 56 or Lot 57 during this time, please park in Lot 27 (southwest corner of Saddle Creek and Farnam).
If you have any questions, please contact George M at 402-238-8211 or email him at email@example.com. Since it is vital that everyone working in and around and/or uses parking lot 56 and 57 be aware of the closure, I ask that you mention it to your colleagues.

The entrance driveway between the Academic and Research Services building and the Central Utility Plant will be closed on the following date:
Friday, October 24, 2014, @ 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (Approximately)
This closure needs to be done in order to transfer equipment onto the Central Utility Plant roof. A crane will be set up outside of Security and will block most of the driveway on the above mentioned date. The crane will be moving materials for a roof repair. This will also impact access to Parking Lot 22U from Emile Street. (See attached photo.)
