Due to its age and condition, Lot 4 parking structure is coming down to make room for green space (temporally……:-).
The four level parking garage was built in 1972 with 520 parking stalls. Lot 4 was not built with state funds, Bonds were issued to acquire the needed funding.
This structure was old and full of dust
you know it had served over time very well
the demo, you see is a must
for us to progress in the future as well.
Change in Exit and Evacuation Plan
Construction will begin to redefine the exit and evacuation route for the Durham Outpatient Center (DOC) starting Monday, July 15, 2013. The modified plan is intended to create safe paths for exiting DOC around the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center project site.
