The moving of the fence will start in the afternoon on May 22, 2015, and the paving of the new COP-DD dock area will take approximately 3 weeks to complete.
At no time will the Sorrell dock be closed. Please use caution and observe any temporary barricades and safety fences around the construction area.

On Thursday, May 21st, 2015, there will be an extended interruption (shut off) of steam to the Administration Center. This steam interruption will affect only heat throughout the building. However, HVAC controls will be adjusted to minimize heat loss from the building. Domestic hot water to all kitchens, labs, and bathrooms will not be affected.
This shut off is required to allow for relocation of existing underground steam and condensate lines located within Parking Lot #13 on the west side of the East Utilities Plant (EUP) Expansion project.
Commence Time: Thursday, May 21, 2015, 12:15 p.m.
Completion/End Time: Thursday, May 21, 2015, 10:00 p.m. Approximately
If you have any questions, please contact Dan Michalak at ext. 9-5048 or Darren Dageforde at ext. 9-5278. Since it is vital that everyone working in the affected areas be advised of this, please mention this interruption to your colleagues.
On Monday, May 18, 2015, the contractor for the new Ambulatory Care facility building will be pouring concrete from 7:00 am until 2:00 pm. Their pump truck will be blocking a section of 41st Street, but there will be access to the Michael Sorrell dock and Parking Lot 4 from Emile Street and there will be access to Parking Lot 36 from Leavenworth Street.
The contractor will have a flagman on 41st Street by Lot 4 to help with traffic. 41st Street will not be a through street due to the location of the pump truck (see attached map). Please use caution and observe any temporary barricades or safety fences around the construction when walking or driving in this area.
