Walkway from Durham Outpatient Center to Durham Research Center and Durham Research Center 2
Construction will begin Friday, Sept. 20 on a temporary, employee walkway linking the Durham Outpatient Center to the Durham Research Center and Durham Research Center 2. Ongoing construction projects…
Sidewalk in Front of Munroe-Meyer Institute
Work continues to create a new sidewalk in front of Munroe-Meyer Institute on the north side of Dewey Avenue. The project will tie the new sidewalk into existing walkways and involve installation of a retaining wall. Work is expected to be complete by the end of Sept.
Clarkson Tower Dock Construction
Efforts to close the Durham Outpatient Center dock have begun and all deliveries will reroute to the Clarkson Tower dock at 4350 Dewey Avenue starting Sept. 27. If you have any questions or concerns regarding delivery logistics, please contact Craig Jenkins, Supply Processing, at 2-3515 or email@example.com.
Changes to Lot 3
A portion of stalls in Lot 3 (garage located below the Medical Sciences Building) will be used for emergency department patient parking to replace public parking spots annexed by the expanding Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center project site. Construction in Lot 3 has begun and is expected to continue through the end of Sept. All employees assigned to Lot 3 should continue to park in this lot as no user will be displaced as a result of this change. During this time, we ask all drivers to exercise extreme caution for the safety of construction workers.
Current Lot 3 users will use access cards to pass through the relocated parking control barrier arm to allotted parking spots. If you are a Lot 3 user and you have misplaced your card, please call Parking Services at 559-8580 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain a replacement.
