The SEMI-ANNUAL inspection and testing cycle of the Campus Fire Alarm Systems

The SEMI-ANNUAL inspection and testing cycle of the Campus Fire Alarm Systems have been scheduled to begin on June 3, 2013, and will continue through June 6, 2013.

Due to the uniqueness and complexity of this test cycle, the schedules may need to be adjusted during the course of the testing period.  If schedule modifications become necessary, additional notifications will be sent to identify those changes.

Buildings will be tested as per the following schedule:

Monday, June 3, 2013 – 9:00 a.m. to 3:00  (BELLS WILL RING)
Buildings: 602 Student Apartments, 608 Student Apartments and Potter House

Monday, June 3, 2013 – 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.  (BELLS WILL RING)
Buildings: Annex 22(old OPPD Center), Annex 23(Grounds), General Supply Warehouse, Administration Center, 4230 Building, Bennett Hall and Munroe-Meyer Institute

Monday, June 3, 2013 – 12:01 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.  (BELLS WILL RING)
Building:
Wittson Hall/McGoogan Library

Tuesday, June 4, 2013 – 6:00 P.M. TO 6:00 A.M.  (BELLS WILL RING)
 Buildings: Annex 8, Annex 14(Brown Building), Annex 15(Blue Building), Home Instead, Eye Associates, East Utility Plant

Tuesday, June 4, 2013 – 12:01 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. (BELLS WILL RING)
Buildings: Student Life Center, Maurer College of Public Health

Wednesday, June 5, 2013 – 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m (BELLS WILL RING0)
Buildings:
Durham Research Centers 1 & 2, Lot 50, Shackelford Hall

Wednesday, June 5, 2013 – 12:01 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. (BELLS WILL RING)
Buildings:
Alumni Center, Academic & Research Services

Thursday, June 6, 2013 – 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (BELLS WILL RING)
Building: Center for Nursing Sciences

Thursday, June 6, 2013 – 12:01 a.m. to 6:00 a.m (BELLS WILL RING)
Buildings: Michael Sorrell Center, College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy,  Eppley Science Hall

You do not need to evacuate the building when the bells ring!  FM&P will attempt to complete this testing with the least possible inconvenience.  If you have any questions, please contact Matt Monaghan at 402-559-7188 or 402-981-5396 and please mention the alarm testing to your colleagues.
